Chili Cook-Off at La Crescenta Library Looking for Contenstants
This year will be the fourth annual event at the library.

The fourth annual La Crescenta Chili Cook-Off is set to take place Aug. 10 at the La Crescenta Library. Anyone interested in participating can apply at the library before Wednesday, Aug. 7
Marta Wiggins of the La Crescenta Library told the Crescenta Valley Town Council on Thursday that the event is in great need of contestants.
"I would love to see a two strike chili come in so please help us support this so we have more than one entry competing," said Wiggins. "If anybody wants or knows anyone who would want to compete please let us know."
Contestants are required to bring a gallon of their chili for judging at 1 p.m. at the library.
Contestants must also supply their own heating sources, and keep their chili at a serving temperature of 140 degrees.
