Rescue Team Finds Boy Scouts, Leader

The Montrose Search and Rescue Team found three hikers who were separated from their group Saturday night.

The Montrose Search and Rescue Team tracked down a pair of Sunland-Tujunga area Boy Scouts and their leader after they got separated from the rest of their hiking group in the Mount Wilson area on Saturday night, according to a release from the

Authorities were told of the three hikers after they didn't arrive at a planned camping facility.

The hikers were eventually found in good health in the area, as they were starting to set up camp and planning to pick up their journey during daylight, the release said. They were ready to camp for the right, but one of the boys decided to leave with the rescue team and reunite with his family.
