Paul Redmond, Neighbor

I've lived in and around Echo Park for over 20 years. Local stories about people, events and places inform who we are as a community. My aim is to discover these stories and capture them in images and words. For my work, I've photographed and interviewed hundreds of people in the past decade. In portraits, in documentaries or for articles I continue to be facinated by how people open up and trust me to share their stories. I'm priviledged to do work that allows me into their lives, both public and private.
