Valley View Elementary

Valley View Elementary School is located along Maryland Avenue near downtown La Crescenta. The school resides on a residential street without too much traffic. The large facility features multiple buildings and a massive outdoor play area for recess. The principal of the school is Carla Walker, who oversees everything at Valley View. The school was named a National Blue Ribbon school in 2005 and a California Distinguished school in 2004. The office is open during school days from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., and appointments are necessary for tours. Plenty of free parking is available.
