Elliott Institute

The Elliott Institute is a center for eduction catering to those with autism and other special needs. It is centrally located along Foothill Boulevard in a large, converted house and the small building next to it. The school offers speech and language therapy, as well as behavioral therapy and integrated educational programs, including social skills and concept learning. The institute was founded by Dr. Alicia Elliott, an expert in working with children coping with autism, dyslexia and other learning disorders. The school maintains a student-to-teacher ratio of 2:1, with one-on-one attention where needed or requested. The average class size is 6 to 8 students, which allows for the personalized attention each student needs.
