<p>Crescenta Valley High School, home of the Falcons, was named a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2000, and a California Distinguished School in 1999 and 2005. It is part of the Glendale Unified School District. Dr. Michele Doll is the principal. In 2008, 63% of CVHS graduates completed coursework that would gain them acceptance into the University of California and California State University systems. On average, CVHS teachers have 13 years of experience.</p> <p>In addition to the standard academic curriculum, CVHS offers AP, Honor and ESL classes. The school also has a variety of programs that ready students for the working world, including Vocational-Technical Training, Regional Occupational Program and Work Experience. There is also a Community Service Program.</p>
