Suh didn't realize the response he would get. The organization decided to donate 10,000 books to the library and on July 26 local leaders celebrated the arrival of the first batch of nearly 5,000 books.

The books were sent through customs at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. They will be catalogued through the Los Angeles County Library system for locals to check out.
