Yes, finally! The settling of my grueling school schedule and other freelance engagements has allowed for a lovely autumnal Saturday to open up. My wanderlust spirit beckons me to the fire prone chaparral of trail. I want it, I crave it, I need it! I am not alone in my desires, of that I’m sure.
Come join me on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 8 a.m. I would like to accommodate as many hikers as possible so if you would please let me know that you can make it then that would be wonderful. Please take into account that days are shorter and the sun begins to set as early as 5 p.m. With that said I wouldn’t mind a super early morning hike to experience a chill rarely felt in sunny California.
As would want me to mention, please remember to bring along the essentials, including water, light jacket, granola bars, etc., in case of an emergency.
The distant echoes of my brother’s Eagle Scout days scream “be prepared.”
Also by all means bring along your beloved canines. My boxer Rocky and I are looking forward to meeting you all.
