Stranded Hikers Rescued From Mt. Williamson
Both hikers airlifted, unharmed, Deputies reported.
Two stranded hikers were found and airlifted from the Angeles National Forest Saturday afternoon.
The hikers were located by helicopter after a long search in the area of Mt. Williamson. The hikers were rescued some time before 12:30 p.m., according to officials.
Both individuals were found uninjured and were hoisted to a nearby road by a Sheriff's rescue helicopter, said Lieutenant Tonya Edwards of the
Mt. Williamson is located along Angeles Crest Highway north of Highway 39.
