Search Continues For Missing Owner of Vehicle
Authorities searching Stoneyvale Picnic area after the vehicle was found yesterday afternoon.
Members of the Montrose Search and Rescue Team have resumed their efforts to locate a missing man whose vehicle was discovered parked in an area near Big Tujunga Canyon Road.
Authorities are searching near Stoneyvale picnic area, according to Sergeant Cynthia Edwards of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station. Rescuers have picked up where they left off, with no real leads and are unsure if the missing man was anywhere near the area, officials said.
Yesterday, authorities said the license plate of the gray Mitsubishi was traced back to a missing man, Ergun Ertug, 32, from the Bakersfield area.
