Crescenta Valley Sierra Club meeting

The Crescenta Valley Sierra Club invites the public to its monthly meeting featuring the Los Angeles Fire Department Forestry Division and the Saugus Forestry Unit. Since its inception in 1911, the Forestry Division has been involved in the conservation and protection of natural resources through its urban forestry programs. Today eleven forestry units located throughout the county, the Saugus Unit specifically, address the following environmental concerns: education, management, tree planting and natural resources protections. A representative from the Saugus Unit will bring information and a slide program to the community.
