Local residents could finish up Christmas shopping at the Prom Plus Holiday Boutique and Food Truck Festival at St. Luke's of the Mountains Episcopal Church on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Christmas was in full swing at Saturday's outdoor at in La Crescenta.

With proceeds benefitting Crescenta Valley High School Prom Plus, local vendors decked out their tables with handmade jewelry, funky knitwear and bright handbags.

Others could try their luck at VIP Jay Leno or Colony Theatre tickets and other one-of-a-kind experiences offered at the opportunity drawings. Montrose cosmetic store and the Alex Theatre giveaways were also auctioned.

More than 10 Prom Plus students volunteered at the event, including several from , where students began a Prom Plus Club, too.

Foodies feasted on a delectable variety of artisan breads and food truck fare from the Grill 'Em All Truck, Cambala CHE's Gourmet and the TK Truck.

This is the first year for the Prom Plus Holiday Boutique and Food Truck Festival. The event replaced the annual holiday home tour in La Crescenta, which was canceled because not enough homes were participating. However, the tour will resume next year. Boutique sale proceeds will benefit Prom Plus, the supervised after prom event at the .

To pay for the  $20,000 event, Prom Plus sponsors several fundraisers throughout the course of the school year.
