GCC Not So Cheerful About Latest Budget Cut
Financial problems force closure of the school's cheer program, officials said.
Amid budget woes, officials at Glendale Community College will reportedly end the school's cheer program.

The team is sponsored by Glendale College's athletic funds, but is not an officially-sanctioned intercollegiate sport. Administrators said that funding priorities belong to the school's sports teams that are sanctioned by the California Community College Athletic Association.
