Funeral Services for Drew Ferraro Are Wednesday at 10 a.m.

The services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Tujunga Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m.

Funeral services for the Crescenta Valley High Student, Drew Ferraro --who  in front of CVHS students on Friday during lunch -- will take place on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Tujunga.

There will be a visitation from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at . Crippens Mortuary suggests to have flowers sent to the mortuary by 2 p.m. so the flowers can arrive in time for the visitation Tuesday.

Grief counselors will be on campus Tuesday and CVHS Principal Dr. Michele Doll is expected to address students about the tragedy.

School officials are investigating how Drew accessed the roof, which he did outside the building, according to Crescenta Valley Weekly

“He did leave a suicide note, which gave a reason,” Lt. John Corina said. “[His suicide] had nothing to do with drugs, alcohol or bullying.”

School officials also say that bullying was not an apparent reason for suicide, CBS reported

Friends and family of Drew say that the student was taunted.

“He definitely was bullied and he didn’t want to go to school. I know how it feels because I was bullied and I didn’t want to go to school,” said Ferraro’s friend Meghan Dorosy, who witnessed him jump off the school building, in a CBS interview.

Drew was allegedly involved in a fight with several boys last year, which upset him deeply, according to his close friend Olin Tellefsen in a CBS interview. Olin described Drew as a smart, witty friend who played football, loved heavy metal, concerts and his friends.

I can well empathsize with your loss. First thing, can you remember taking it off anywhere? DidRead More you wash your hands anywhere, soap makes fingers slippery. Did it fit well or was it a little loose? Running makes the arms swing. Strange as it may seem, it may still be in or on your own property.
