CVHS Boys Soccer Win, Advance to CIF Semifinals (Video)

Falcon boys soccer won the CIF quarterfinal game against Salesian High School in overtime, 3-2. They will advance to Division 4 playoffs against Oak Hills High School in Hesperia on Tuesday.

Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys soccer team will advance to the semifinals of the CIF Southern Section Division 4 playoffs on Tuesday against Oak Hills High School in Hesperia. 

The Thursday game went into stoppage time due to injury time, CVHS Coach Grant Clark told Patch.  

Goalkeeper Nick Ruiz scored the first goal of his high school career to tie the score 2-2. He scored in the 13th minute of stoppage time, Clark said. CVHS won the game in overtime, 3-2, against Salesian to advance to the semifinals of the Division 4 soccer playoffs.

The Falcons (19-0-6) play Oak Hills High School in Hesperia on Tuesday.
