Crescenta Valley Mascots Victorious In National Cheer Competition

This was the first time the school competed in the event.

Crescenta Valley's feathered duo mascots are soaring high after taking home a trophy in the USA National Cheer Competition.

The school's cheer mascots were invited to the competition after receving high scores in a regional competition. This is the first trophy of its kind for the school and the first time the school competed in the national event, the Crescenta Valley Weekly reported.

The national event was held March 14 and 15 in Anaheim. Schools from California, Arizona and Oregon competed.
