Bomb Threat Prompts GUSD School Evacuation

R.D. White Elementary in Glendale received an anonymous phone call of a possible bomb on campus.

Glendale Police and Fire are searching the R.D. White Elementary School campus to render the area safe, authorities announced. 

The Glendale school south of Montrose received an anonymous phone call of a possible bomb on campus, located in the 700 Block of East Doran, police said.  

School officials evacuated the campus to Whole Foods, near Glendale Avenue and Lexington Drive.

Teachers and staff counted all 880 students were safe and parents who wish to pick up their children can come to the Whole Foods parking lot and check-in at the intersection of California and Glendale with proper identification.
