Blog: Making Glendale a Safer Place to Walk and Bike--Candidate Survey

Want to learn about how candidates for City Council would make Glendale a safer place to walk and bicycle? Read their responses to the Walk Bike Glendale Candidate Survey.

Walk Bike Glendale has been working hard over the past two years to make Glendale a safer place to walk and bike.  We have met repeatedly with our elected officials, worked with city staff and even hit the streets to work directly with the public.

Since our City Council plays such an important role in approving improvements to our city streets, we thought we would ask the 12 candidates for City Council to go on the record regarding biking and walking.  We asked them a combination of fun questions about their own experiences and how they would work to improve specific programs like Safe Routes to School, pedestrian safety for the elderly and reduce the number of bicycle related injuries on our roads.

Walk Bike Glendale does not support any particular candidate, we are a 501 (c) (3) and the answers to these survey questions are provided on a voluntary basis.  Several candidates have not yet responded, but we will add any additions as they come in.
