DISCUSSION ON FIRST INHABITANTS OF CALIFORNIA /NORTH AMERICA

HISTORICAL THE ORIGIN OF MAN IN CALIFORNIA

In my obsession to find some credible data on how and where from did the first humans arrive in California.  I find a bottom line taken from Indian Lore, to Archaelogists that essentially says  "We don't know.

Speculation ranges from humans were created/developed in North America and actully migrated out, to a people from Siberia crossing a land bridge to here, to people coming here in boats from S. Pacific Islands.  These people who were here FIRST, knew nothing of Columbus nor the white invasion to follow.  It is obvious that there were many different people who came here and they spoke in differing dialects.  In time, groups of them banded together, learned to to communicate withe each other, and developed a society that learned how to harvest food ahead of time and keep it from spoiling.  The two main staples were nuts and Salmon.

They learned to follow the Sun and wintered in warmer climes during Winter.  Also, there was an influx of Spanish people from Spain and then Mexico.  I was very surprised to learn how many different tribes and cultures showed up here.  If any of you are interested in this subject, please enter anything you wish on this subject.  One thing for sure, many cultures were here long before we were.
