VIDEO: Foothill Community Clean Up Hits the Streets

Locals met up at Dunsmore Park Saturday to pick up cigarette butts, sweep trash out of storm drains and plant California poppies along the streets of La Crescenta and Montrose.

More than 150 people met up at Dunsmore Park in La Crescenta to sweep the streets, collect cigarette butts and plant California Poppy seeds. 

Glendale Neighborhood Services, the Committee for a Clean & Beautiful Glendale, and the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce have organized this event for the past 19 years, according to a news release

California Pizza Kitchen and Two Guys From Italy provided food for the volunteers.
