More than 150 people met up at Dunsmore Park in La Crescenta to sweep the streets, collect cigarette butts and plant California Poppy seeds.
Glendale Neighborhood Services, the Committee for a Clean & Beautiful Glendale, and the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce have organized this event for the past 19 years, according to a news release.
California Pizza Kitchen and Two Guys From Italy provided food for the volunteers.
