The bridge over the 210 freeway for the Gold Line Foothill Extension is more than 50 percent completed, according to a video released by the construction authority this week.
What to expect going forward during your commute along the freeway:
- Contractor will complete erection of the wooden form work.
- Removal of falsework. Took 6 weeks to erect. "It's going to take a significant amount of time to remove it," contractor said.
- Anticipated 5 Eastbound closures from April to July. Total of 60 closures expected over the course of the build; about 30 have been made to date.
