The Stanley Cup is Headed to Glendale

Have you ever wanted to see the Stanley Cup? There's a place in Glendale where you can Wednesday.

The , but now the cup is closer to Montrose-La Crescenta than ever before. 

Glendale's Community Services & Parks Department will host a public viewing and presentation of the Stanley Cup at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Pacific Community Center and Park Gymnasium, 501 S. Pacific Ave., Glendale. 

The Los Angeles Kings are champions of the National Hockey League playoffs for 2012 and received the infamous ice hockey trophy.

Locals can expect a member of the Los Angeles Kings organization to present the history about the Stanley Cup, which is on tour, and was made public by KABC Studios. 

Both admission and parking are free. Attendees are encouraged to park on South Kenilworth Avenue or off Vine Street.
