Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Burbank, was interviewed on MSNBC on Sunday on his thoughts on the impact of sequestration and the possible closure of the historic Glendale Post Office.
Schiff has been trying to save the post office on Broadway since the U.S. Postal Service put the office on the list for possible closure to help bridge an ongoing budget deficit.
Schiff told Craig Melvin that he believed that the government is trying to sabotage the success of the postal service.
"It think the reality is that there are some in Congress and the majority in the House that unfortunately want to do away with the Postal Service as we know it," Schiff said.
