Photos: Crescenta Valley Dog Park Officially Opens

Diginitaries and dog lovers gathered Friday morning to help open up the county's first off-leash dog park.

Applause and barks of approval provided the soundtrack for the official opening ceremony for the Crescenta Valley Dog Park, Los Angeles County's first off-leash dog park.

In addition to the variety of dogs and their owners, attendees included Supervisor Michael Antonovich, Assemblymen Anthony Portantino and Mike Gatto, and Crescenta Valley Town Council President Cheryl Davis, who thanked everyone who took part in helping to open "this little slice of heaven."

While the ceremony marks the park's official opening, the public has been able to use the park since the beginning of October.

Patch was there to take some photos of the event, and we'd like you to upload photos to the site to share!
