Supervisor Michael Antonovich, who represents the Crescenta and San Gabriel valleys, recognized NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory Mars Curiosity rover team.
Supervisor Antonovich honored the NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Mars Science Laboratory Team, which successfully landed the Curiosity rover on the surface of Mars on Aug. 5.
The group will begin a two-year study of the red planet.
