Glendale's Population Increased in 2011
Los Angeles County's population grew half a percent in 2011.
Glendale's population reached 192,654 people, the third largest city in Los Angeles County and 22nd largest in California, according to the the California Department of Finance population report released Tuesday.
Glendale--which includes Montrose and parts of La Crescenta--had a 0.2 percent increase from 2011.
The report cites that Glendale's population was 192,271 on Jan. 1, 2011. By Jan. 2012 that figure was 192,654.

California's entire population reached 37.7 million, according to (KPCC) 89.3.
