Glendale City Council Member Apologizes For Online Slurs

Newly sworn in Glendale councilman Zareh Sinanyan again apologized for the racial and homophobic slurs he posted online.
Sinanyan read from a written statement apologizing for comments posted to his YouTube and Faceboook accounts that targeted gays, Muslims and other ethnic groups, according to the Pasadena Star News.
The apology was the second public apology Sinanyan has made since he was sworn in to the city council.

During his campaign before the April election, Sinanyan initially denied the comments.
Sinanyan said during the Tuesday council meeting: "If I have not gone far enough, let me be clear: I apologize to anyone who may have been offended by my past comments. I'm truly sorry,"
