The trial date for former Glendale Mayor John Drayman was pushed back as the Montrose local is now represented by a public defender who is unfamiliar with the embezzlement, forgery and other allegations, according to The Glendale News-Press.
Drayman's next court date will be Feb. 5, however, the trial could begin in April, according to the newspaper.
Drayman was indicted nearly a year ago on felony charges that he allegedly embezzled nearly $305,000 from the Montrose Sunday Harvest Market, according to the District Attorney's Office.
