Woman Carries Antique Shotgun Through Montrose

A woman carrying a shotgun through Montrose prompted locals to call Glendale Police.

A woman carrying a shotgun without a case through Montrose learned a valuable lesson, according to Glendale Police.

The incident happened in the 3500 Block of Oceanview about 1 p.m. Thursday, said Glendale Police Lt. Scott Bickle.

"The lady took a shotgun to the antique store to be sold and someone called about a female with a gun. There was no crime, but she learned a valuable lesson about placing it in a case if she is going to be in public with it," Bickle said.
