Law enforcement agencies across Los Angeles County will continue to focus efforts on DUI arrests as part of the two-week
Since the anti-DUI campaign began Friday, law enforcement agencies across Los Angeles County arrested 550 people for driving under the influence, about 100 less than the year before.
In 2011, the campaign made 663 DUI arrests during the same time period last year.
According to an Avoid the 100 press release, all regularly scheduled traffic and patrol officers will focus efforts on DUI arrests during the 18-day campaign.
The DUI crackdown will continue to conduct in locations all over the county until Labor Day on Sept. 3.
