Walgreens Employee Falls Victim to Petty Theft
A Walgreens employee reported that someone stole her keys. Security footage revealed that someone also stole a soda from the store.
A La Crescenta employee reported that someone stole her six keys, including her Volvo car key and USB flash drive, when she left it on a cosmetic counter, according to a report from the .
The employee was preparing the store for the end of her shift when the petty theft happened, about 4:35 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29 at 3001 Foothill Boulevard, sheriff's officials said.
She placed her six keys on a key ring under a display, on top of a counter, walked away and returned to find the keys missing, according to the report. The employee told her manager the keys were gone.

The store had video of someone entering the store, taking a soft drink from aisle eight, walking to aisle one and taking the keys before strolling out the front door, according to sheriff's deputies.
The suspect is described as a man in his 30s or 40s with brown hair, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 250 pounds.
