Two Burglaries in Three Days

Thieves hit Foothill Blvd. and Honolulu Ave. this past Friday through Sunday.

Two early-morning burglaries occurred this past Friday through Sunday in La Cañada and La Crescenta.

On Friday at 3:00 a.m., deputies at the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's station responded to a burglary reported at Marsh Village Pharmacy at 2135 Foothill Blvd. in La Cañada. Sgt. Ray Harley said that a window was broken near the front door and approximately $100 in cash was stolen. Dave Silversparre said there are no leads in this case.

On Sunday at 3:29 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 2900 block of Honolulu Ave. in La Crescenta, according to Crimemapping.com. The block is made up of a strip mall and several free-standing buildings containing businesses. Glendale Police did not return calls seeking more information.
