Three hikers were airlifted out of Eaton Canyon after they were found clinging on to a cliff 100 feet off the ground, according to sheriff's officials.
The Air 5 rescue team was able to lower the helicopter into the canyon area and send rescuers down by rope to haul the hikers, according to Capt. Mike Parker of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Two Glendale men and one woman were found clinging to a cliff wall and unable to move, told Patch.
The hikers were uninjured and were airlifted and dropped off in a landing area just below the Pinecrest Gate.
The video on right was shot by local resident and reader Peggy Sue Davis and shows the helicopter taking off after dropping the hikers off.
