The only thing that surprises me about this insurance study is that Glendale did not rank HIGHER.... I can't stand to drive in Downtown Glendale or the surrounding areas. Maybe it's because I was trained to be a defensive driver or maybe it's just that I am a courteous person in GENERAL, but honestly! The violations I see and the outward disregard for other drivers and pedestrians is frightening to me.

Unfortunately it is not just Glendale- I live in the Cypress Cerritos area and they are just as bad down here too. Courtesy, patience, and tolerance are words NOT in lexicons of drivers here. However, cell phone use, texting, fixing makeup, mascara, hair, looking over seats and disciplining kids, and under no circumstances GLANCING in the side mirrors or rear view mirror, all of these phrases are DEFIANTLY in their repertoire!
