Sunrise-Seeking Student Rescued

The woman started at Chaney Trail and eventually found herself "stuck" on the mountainside above Loma Alta Drive and Lake Avenue in Altadena, said Sgt. Debra Herman of the Sheriff's Department. The woman needed to be "plucked off the side of the mountain" by a county air unit around 8:30 a.m., Herman said. The traveler was not injured.
