Sun Valley Man ID'd as Victim of Fatal San Fernando Rd. Crash
Police say Joel Joseph Solis, 28, was speeding.
The victim of a fatal crash along San Fernando Road has been identified as a Sun Valley man.
Police say Joel Joseph Solis, 28, was speeding along the 8800 block of San Fernando Road at 10:40 a.m. on Monday when he rear-ended a truck. Solis' Oldmobile kept going south and hit another vehicle attempting to enter traffic from a business on the west side of San Fernando Road.
At that point, the car came to a stop and Solis was pronounced dead at the scene.
