Sheriff's Department Will Collect Toys for Local Kids

Locals can donate unwrapped, new toys to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Crescenta Valley Station.

Sheriff's officials are asking the public to inspire a child and donate an unwrapped, new toy this holiday season.

Kids who might not otherwise receive a gift or a family under hardship might not be unable to provide one, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The sheriff's department, including the Crescenta Valley Station, will collect gifts valued at least $10, appropriate for children between the ages of one to 12 years old. Deputies ask that you make donations before Dec. 15., but they will accept any toys until Christmas Eve, Monday, Dec. 24.
