A Sparr Heights resident came home to an attempted home burglary Wednesday morning, police said.
The incident happened in the 3400 Block of Sierra Vista about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz.
The resident arrived and heard someone run out the back of the home, he said. No items were stolen and the suspect fled before police arrived.
The suspect apparently entered the home by opening a window, Lorenz said.
