Police Seek 24 Hour Fitness Locker Burglary Suspect

Two 24-Hour Fitness locations have been hit in Glendale, according to authorities.

Glendale police want the public's help in tracking down a woman suspected of burglarizing the women's locker rooms at 24 Hour Fitness locations in Glendale, according to a release from the department.

On May 14, the female suspect entered the 24 Hour Fitness at 450 N. Brand Blvd. and claimed to have left her purse in the locker room, the release stated.

She was allowed to enter without being asked to show her membership ID. She stayed in the female locker room for 25 minutes before leaving. Later, two lockers were later found to be broken into, their locks cut. Among the items taken were car keys, a purse, clothing and jewelry.

On May 19, another female locker burglary occurred at 24 Hour Fitness' other Glendale location at 240 N. Brand Blvd.

It is not known if the suspect is targeting other fitness centers in the Greater Los Angeles area, the release said.

The female suspect is described as between the age of 22- and 32-years-old, with a stocky build.

Anyone with information about the identity or whereabouts of this suspect should contact Detective Robert William, Burglary at (818) 548-2097. To leave a tip anonymously, call the Glendale Crime Stoppers at (818) 507-7867.

I can well empathsize with your loss. First thing, can you remember taking it off anywhere? DidRead More you wash your hands anywhere, soap makes fingers slippery. Did it fit well or was it a little loose? Running makes the arms swing. Strange as it may seem, it may still be in or on your own property. There are still honest people, call the desk of every business you went to. Also, call every pawn shop in your area and report. Good luck. If its any comfort, I found a diamond studded tie tack when I gazed at the soil in my garden and saw it. Keep us posted. b
