Police End Search for Possible Residential Burglary Suspect in Montrose

Glendale Police officers and search dogs looked for a possible burglary suspect Tuesday but found no one.

Police received a call of a possible residential burglary happening in Montrose, but found no evidence of a crime, officials told Patch. 

A Glendale Police helicopter and k-9 unit started searching for an alleged suspect in the 3600 Block of Sycamore Avenue, near Rosemont Avenue, according to Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz. 

A resident reported someone knocked on the front door and then tried to enter the residence through the backyard, Glendale Police Lt. Scott Bickle told Patch via email.

No one was seen and no suspects are in custody, Bickle said. 

Police began leaving the area about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
