The Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station shared the following Wednesday about recent burglary-related arrests in the area:
Crescenta Valley Station Deputies stopped three male suspects for a traffic violation. During the course of their investigation, they discovered that one male was on probation for Grand Theft and another had a warrant for Burglary.
In the vehicle, deputies discovered property that had a name and phone number etched into it. The name did not belong to any of the occupants in the vehicle.
Deputies called the number and discovered the item had been stolen in a commercial burglary from San Bernardino County.
Deputies also discovered some specific burglary tools commonly used in residential burglaries.
Due to the fact that the suspects could not give a reason for being in the area and the above information, they were arrested for Reasonable Cause Burglary, Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Burglary Tools.
