Officials Trying to ID Remains of Woman Found near La Tuna Canyon Rd.

Coroner's investigators determine that she was white or Hispanic and between 25-40 years old.

County officials sought the public's help Tuesday in identifying a woman whose bones were found near La Tuna Canyon Road in Sunland just off the 210 Freeway. 

The skeletal remains were discovered on Feb. 24 on a hillside near the 8400 block of La Tuna Canyon Road.

Coroner's investigators determined that she was white or Hispanic and between 25-40 years old, but no clothing, jewelry or identifying marks were available to help identify the remains.

A single breast implant was found in the vicinity of the bones.
