A mountain lion sighting has sparked a flurry of police activity in the area of New York Avenue and Foothill Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.
Glendale Police dispatcher Albert Lim told Patch officers have the cat within their sight and have called Animal Control to the scene.
The mountain lion was initially spotted Thursday morning before disappearing and reappearing hours later, Lim said.
