Montrose Resident Shares Memories of Irvine Shooting Victim

Natasha Belou was united through basketball with Keith Lawrence, the Irvine man who was shot and killed in a car with fiancee Monica Quan on Sunday night.

The Los Angeles Police Department's manhunt for suspected cop killer Christopher Dorner has Montrose ties, as Natasha Belou, a Montrose resident and friend of one of Dorner's alleged victims, shared memories of basketball, texts and doughnuts for a story in the Glendale News-Press.

Belou's last memories of Keith Lawrence, who was shot and killed in Irvine on Sunday night along with fiancee Monica Quan, involve analyzing a basketball game Friday at Glendale High School, then heading to the Hill Street Cafe in La Canada Flintridge for some postgame food. She remembers Lawrence as a "mellow" person.
