Montrose Avenue Shut Down Due to Bomb Scare
A suspicious device turns out to be a false alarm.
The 3300 block of Montrose Avenue was shut down Thursday afternoon while police investigated a possible bomb at the location, according to the Crescenta Valley Weekly.
The response occurred because officers spotted what appeared to be a small pipe bomb inside a vehicle, according to the report. The Los Angeles County Bomb Squad reportedly was called and after investigating found the device to be empty.
