Meet Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s New Commander

Capt. Bill Song, a Crescenta Valley High School graduate, is settling into his new job as commander.

Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station’s new commander, Capt. Bill Song is no stranger to the community, according to the La Canada Valley Sun.

Song went to Rosemont Middle School and Crescenta Valley High School. He has had a 22-year career with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s, but Song said returning to the place of his childhood is like “coming home.”

The goals the new commander would like to tackle for the community?  Song said home burglaries, communication with the public and overall crime in the region are his top priorities.
