Medical Doctor from La Cañada Killed in Motorcycle Crash on 2 Freeway

A motorcyclist who died in a solo vehicle crash on the Glendale (2) Freeway was identified Tuesday as a medical doctor from La Cañada Flintridge.
Los Angeles Coroner's Lt. Larry Dietz identified the victim as Thomas M. Grosch, 53, of La Canada.

Grosch was a medical doctor, specializing in the ears, nose and throat, according to the website of Eastside ENT of Burbank, which listed him as one of two principal partners.
Grosch's CV, also listed on the company website, described him as Chief of Surgery at Glendale Memorial Hospital since 2006.

California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Rubio said Grosch died on the northbound lanes of the freeway at East Mountain Street around 6 p.m.
