Man Arrested in Montrose Business Vandalism

A suspect allegedly used spray paint to tag a Montrose business Sunday night.

Glendale Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of vandalism after he allegedly tagged graffiti on Montrose Travel.

Richard Cordova was arrested on suspicion of vandalism about 11:35 p.m. Sunday, Glendale Police Officer Matt Zakarian told Patch.

A neighbor apparently saw the suspect in the area and allegedly told police he tagged a wall using spray paint near the corner of Honolulu Avenue and Wickham, on the side of Montrose Travel, he said.

The incident has nothing to do with the travel agency, Zakarian said. It does not appear to be gang-related at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities recommend that if you notice suspicious activity to call law enforcement immediately.
