LAFD May Recruit Firefighters in the Fall
Los Angeles Fire Department officials expect that the firefighter exam may be open in the fall. They invite locals to prepare for the exam and the physical demands of becoming a firefighter.
In anticipation of a possible a firefighter examination in the fall, the Los Angeles Fire Department has unveiled a revamped recruitment website and Twitter account.
The website address is JoinLAFD.org and the Twitter account is @JoinLAFD, said Firefighter Brian Humphrey, a department spokesman.
"Serving as the official gateway to LAFD Firefighter employment, the new website provides all of the information necessary for men and women interested in making the Los Angeles Fire Department their life's work," he said.
