Los Angeles County sheriff's detectives are investigating the drowning death of a 6-year-old girl at a La Canada home, according to a sheriff's department press release.
Paramedics were called to the residence in the 4900 block of Indianola Way at 7:20 p.m. Monday, Deputy Mark Pope of the Sheriff's Headquarters Bureau told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
